Living life to the fullest means being with the people you love and going where you want to go. We love transport chairs because they do just that. They are much lighter and more compact than traditional wheelchair and that is a game changer because you can take them just about anywhere. The Lightweight Transport Chair with Hand Brakes has a lightweight aluminum frame and padded upholstery. It is foldable and has a quick release fold-down back, as well as padded, fixed full-length arms for added comfort. This transport chair has locking rear wheels as well as locking hand brakes so the care-giver can control the speed on bumps and inclines and lock the brakes. The 12" larger rear wheels are ideal for diverse terrain. Comes with removable and adjustable swing away footrests with heel straps.

Well Made, Lightweight, Smooth Ride, But...

Review by Cajun #1
The chair is well built and offers a smooth ride, with fairly easy manuverability. It is lightweight, and easy to get into the car. However, the position of the armrests is too high. I am 5'5" and have trouble with the armrests confining me when sitting with my arms down. And, they are too high to be able to push myself from sitting to standing. Also, the seat could be a little wider. It is too narrow for my husband, who is 6' and 190 lbs.
